Mango, avocado, papaya, guava pine apple popular economically important fruits due to their essential nutritional properties appreciated eating quality. However, developing countries, upto 50% those lost after harvest improper post-harvest handling practices. Edible coating, dip calcium chloride solution, hot water treatment drying easily applicable post treatments used preservation such fruits. Shelf life mangoes coated using edible coating material can be extended up 18 days without rotting unpleasant-flavour relative guava, avocado Dipping harvested various concentration solution exhibited different storage life. Consequently, mango treated with 10% preserved for 30 at 12°C 85-90% humidity. Guava by 45oC 3 minute lasts 31 under room temperature. In this review maximum shelf 9 months was found Avocado fruit dried freeze method.

Microgreens are young plants that have gained popularity among consumers due to their high nutritional value. In the present study, the shelf life and nutritional properties of beet microgreens subjected to silicon and nano-silica in the post-harvest period have been investigated. Silicon and nano-silica treatments were carried out at two levels (Control and 100 mg/L as foliar spraying), after ...
متن کاملIdentification of woolliness response genes in peach fruit after post-harvest treatments
Woolliness is a physiological disorder of peaches and nectarines that becomes apparent when fruit are ripened after prolonged periods of cold storage. This disorder is of commercial importance since shipping of peaches to distant markets and storage before selling require low temperature. However, knowledge about the molecular basis of peach woolliness is still incomplete. To address this issue...
